Qualified Teacher for Key Stages 3‑4 (Science/Maths)

About the role

We are seeking an inspirational qualified teacher to work with vulnerable children aged 11‑16 at ISP School in Battle, East Sussex. The role focuses on Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging lessons in Science, Maths and the wider curriculum within a supportive SEMH environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and support pupils across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons that meet the full ability range of the class.
• Apply the school’s positive behaviour policy to promote responsible citizenship.
• Motivate pupils to develop a love of learning and achieve their potential.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven teaching experience, preferably with SEN, SEMH and ASC pupils.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum, especially in Science and/or Maths.
• Excellent behaviour management and reflective practice.
• Understanding of therapeutic approaches and ability to adapt teaching to individual needs.
