About the role
We are partnering with a range of primary schools in Preston, Chorley and Leyland to recruit Level 2 and Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistants. The role involves supporting class teachers across EYFS to Key Stage 2, either on a full‑time or part‑time basis, with an immediate start.
Key responsibilities
- Work alongside the class teacher and other support staff to deliver lessons.
- Provide constructive feedback on pupil progress and help make work accessible for all learners.
- Maintain a safe, engaging and enjoyable environment for pupils.
- Use a variety of resources in line with the teacher’s plans.
- Flexibly switch between general, 1:1, SEN or intervention group support as needed.
- Follow and implement the school’s behaviour policies.
Required profile
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for working with young people and delivering high‑quality education.
- Strong relationship‑building skills while maintaining clear boundaries.
- Willingness to adapt to different classroom roles and age ranges.
