About the role
We are seeking a qualified teacher (QTS) to provide one‑to‑one tutoring for young people in Kettering. The role is part‑time, 10‑20 hours per week, term‑time only, and involves supporting both academic and emotional development.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver a tailored curriculum in collaboration with school staff.
- Provide tutoring sessions at the student’s home or at school, according to need.
- Build trust and emotional safety, using student‑centred approaches.
- Identify and respond to sensory or emotional challenges.
- Maintain regular communication with parents and professionals, offering feedback and progress updates.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience supporting autistic children or young people with additional needs.
- Ability to work flexibly across home and school settings.
- Own transportation for travel within Kettering.
