Qualified Vehicle Technician – Immediate Start (Temp)

About the role

Our client, a busy franchised main dealership in Milton Keynes, is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician for a short‑term contract of 1‑2 months with an immediate start. The role guarantees a 40‑hour week, offers overtime, and does not require weekend work unless you choose to take it.

Key responsibilities

• Perform light vehicle maintenance and repairs on a range of cars.
• Carry out MOT testing and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
• Diagnose faults using appropriate diagnostic tools.
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment.
• Utilise personal tools to complete tasks efficiently.

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance.
• Minimum 2 years post‑apprenticeship experience.
• Franchised dealer experience preferred.
• MOT Tester qualification desirable.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Own set of tools and excellent references.
