Quality Assurance Auditor

About the role

As a Quality Assurance Auditor at Greencore, you will be responsible for auditing, monitoring and continuously improving quality systems across a high‑volume food manufacturing site. Working closely with operational teams, you will provide practical technical support while ensuring compliance with internal, customer and legal food‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Audit compliance with QMS, GMP and HACCP, raise clear non‑conformances and drive corrective actions to closure.
• Conduct traceability audits, retrieve data efficiently and present findings.
• Perform scheduled sampling activities – microbiological, nutritional, swab and organoleptic testing.
• Prepare, facilitate and trend taste panels, escalating out‑of‑specification results.
• Calibrate factory measurement equipment and manage out‑of‑tolerance actions.
• Support investigations into complaints, incidents and out‑of‑specification results through audits and data analysis.
• Assist NPD trials and product launches, including shelf‑life assessment and taste panels.
• Provide day‑to‑day technical support to factory teams, audits and customer visits.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience auditing quality systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Familiarity with food‑safety standards and traceability processes.

Required skills

• QMS, GMP and HACCP auditing.
• Microbiological, nutritional, swab and organoleptic testing.
• Calibration of measurement equipment.
• Data analysis and root‑cause investigation.
• Traceability audit techniques.
