About the role
Thales is seeking a proactive Quality Assurance Manager to join its Crawley team. You will act as the voice of the customer, applying risk‑based thinking to support project decisions throughout the lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and execute project audits and surveillance activities in line with Project Quality Plans and audit strategy.
- Represent the customer within project and bid teams, driving customer satisfaction and supporting corrective actions.
- Analyse quality reports, identify improvement opportunities, and ensure timely reporting against project schedules.
- Promote a quality‑focused culture, encouraging best practices and continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Strong organisational, time‑management and project‑management abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
- Problem‑solving mindset with the capacity to resolve complex issues.
- Critical thinking, sound judgement and risk‑identification capabilities.
- Experience in quality environments, preferably manufacturing or engineering.
- Eligibility for SC Clearance (or willingness to obtain it).
