Quality Assurance Manager

About the role

Content Guru is seeking a proactive Quality Assurance Manager to lead a small team of QA Engineers at its Bracknell head office. You will be responsible for ensuring every software release meets the highest standards of performance, reliability and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Review requirements, specifications and technical designs, create test plans, test cases and estimates, and develop automation scripts.
• Identify, record and track bugs, perform regression testing, and validate fixes across the development lifecycle.
• Investigate non‑conforming software, drive corrective actions, document test results and maintain QA records, and track metrics such as defect density.
• Lead, coach and motivate a small team of QA Engineers, build succession plans and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience in software QA, preferably in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 standards is an advantage.
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience.

Required skills

• Automated testing tools and scripting.
• Microsoft SQL Server or similar database technology.
• Performance, security and usability testing.
