Quality Assurance Officer

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Officer to join our Basingstoke team, supporting the RLAP and CAS contracts within Mears Group’s housing management services. The role focuses on performance data management, ensuring data quality and delivering business intelligence to drive service improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, produce and present performance reports and benchmarking analyses.
• Validate, analyse and interpret data to identify productivity gains, cost reductions and value‑adding opportunities.
• Provide business intelligence and data analysis to support management decision‑making and service improvement initiatives.
• Ensure accurate collection, analysis and reporting of performance data in line with company and client protocols.
• Support achievement of contractual KPI targets and maintain robust data‑quality arrangements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, service users and local communities.
• Attend client meetings, manage expectations and contribute to business development and bid preparation activities.

Required profile

• Good standard of education with high literacy and numeracy.
• Experience analysing financial and statistical data.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret financial and statistical information.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate reporting.

What we offer

• Fixed‑term contract (40 hours per week, Monday‑Friday, 8.30 am‑5 pm).
• Annual salary £29,000‑£32,000, dependent on experience.
