Quality Assurance Officer – Pharmaceutical GMP

About the role
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Officer to join a fast‑growing pharmaceutical manufacturer that supplies active pharmaceutical ingredients and specialist products. The role is based in Kent and offers the chance to work across the full QA lifecycle within a GMP‑regulated environment.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Review and approve batch manufacturing documentation prior to product release.
- Review and approve SOPs, controlled documents and quality records.
- Manage quality events such as deviations, CAPAs, change controls, complaints and out‑of‑specification investigations.
- Support internal audits, supplier audits and ongoing compliance activities.
- Assist with preparation for customer and regulatory inspections.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a GMP‑regulated Quality Assurance environment.
- Strong understanding of GMP and broader GxP requirements.
- Experience with Quality Management Systems and related documentation.
- Knowledge of CAPA, deviation handling, change control and batch record review processes.
- Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
