Quality Assurance Specialist - Food Safety Professional

About the role

Join Prinova’s Operational Quality team as a Quality Assurance Specialist focused on food safety. You will work in a hybrid setting, spending 2‑3 days per week in our Central London office, and support the safety and compliance of ingredient distribution, processing, and co‑manufacturing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investigations of internal, supplier and customer non‑conformances and produce detailed reports.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis using FMEA, 5 Whys and Fishbone diagrams.
• Develop, implement and verify corrective and preventative actions.
• Perform risk assessments to ensure product safety and efficacy.
• Support resolution of customer complaints and provide trend analysis of quality events.
• Prepare for and participate in internal, customer and third‑party audits (e.g., BRC).
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for regulatory and customer standards.

Required profile

• Experience in food safety or quality assurance within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
