Quality Auditor

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Auditor to join a fast‑paced manufacturing operation on a night shift (22:00‑06:00, Sunday‑Thursday). Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will help maintain food safety and quality standards, support BRC accreditation and drive continuous improvement across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out GMP and CCP audits, ensuring accurate documentation and traceability.
• Monitor food safety standards, report and resolve quality issues with production teams.
• Conduct sampling, swabbing and testing for allergens and microbiological hazards.
• Manage temperature controls, equipment calibration and validation activities.
• Investigate non‑conformances, complaints and out‑of‑spec results, implementing corrective actions.
• Support internal and external audits, product launches and train colleagues on quality and food safety procedures.
• Maintain records, systems and documentation to ensure ongoing compliance.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a quality or technical role within manufacturing or FMCG.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot discrepancies.
• Confident communicator capable of influencing and training others.
• Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office.
• Highly organised with the ability to prioritise workload.
• Food Safety/HACCP Level 2 desirable (training can be provided).
