Quality Control Inspector

About the role

Our client, an established FMCG business in Marden, Kent, is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to ensure products meet the highest standards of quality, safety and customer specifications before they reach the market. This full‑time position offers a fast‑paced environment where attention to detail is essential.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect products for quality, appearance and compliance with specifications.
• Identify, record and report any defects, damage or quality concerns.
• Monitor storage conditions and maintain accurate inspection records.
• Assist with product sampling and quality testing procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues to investigate and resolve quality issues.
• Support health & safety compliance and company quality standards.
• Help train new team members as required.

Required profile

• Previous quality control experience, preferably in the FMCG sector.
• Understanding of storage and inspection processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify issues quickly.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
• Driving licence preferred.
