Quality Control Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Control Specialist to join the Quality Control team of a prestigious high jewellery house in London. The role sits within Product Operations and ensures every piece meets the Maison’s exceptional standards of craftsmanship. You will assess jewellery at various stages – from workshop deliveries to repairs and customer returns – and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day quality control activities across workshop deliveries, new production, repairs and customer returns.
• Inspect jewellery against company quality standards and technical requirements, documenting any issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external workshops to determine corrective actions and ensure resolution.
• Analyse quality data, identify recurring trends and produce clear reports for decision‑making.
• Support the development and improvement of quality control procedures, tools and reporting.

Required profile

• Previous experience in fine or high jewellery, preferably in quality control, product development or production.
• Strong knowledge of jewellery manufacturing techniques, materials and craftsmanship.
• Exceptional eye for detail and passion for high standards.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and recommend actions.
• Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP (advantageous).
