Quality Control Supervisor

About the role

The Quality Control Supervisor will provide support to the manufacturing and service business units by implementing Oceaneering's Quality Management System (QMS) and related tools to accelerate business results, while developing inspection and testing plans and supervising inspection resources to verify material and product quality.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and delegate workload of Quality Control Inspectors across services and manufacturing units.
• Develop, maintain and evaluate inspection and testing plans (ITPs) and Incoming Quality Control plans (IQCPs) in SmartSolve.
• Ensure independent inspection of assets, products and components complies with industry standards, regulatory statutes and customer requirements.
• Oversee gage calibration, perform Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and procure necessary measurement tools.
• Monitor and report non‑conformances, coordinate corrective actions and track Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) metrics.
• Lead supplier source inspections and manage customer witness inspections.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in quality control within fabrication, precise machining or assembly environments.
• Proven experience in a QC supervisory or management role, with a track record of continuous improvement.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management system requirements.
• Training in Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and nondestructive examination methods.
• Ability to analyze data, conduct root‑cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
