Quality Engineer – Automotive Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Quality Engineer to join a fast‑growing automotive specialist. The position is based in a factory environment serving Weston‑super‑Mare and surrounding areas, offering hands‑on involvement with quality standards from design through production.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and audit ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards across the site.
• Perform quality inspections and ensure compliance with product specifications.
• Support the Quality team in day‑to‑day operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with manufacturing personnel to resolve non‑conformities.
• Participate in rotating shift schedules as required.

Required profile

• Experience in quality inspection or a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Ability to work within a team of quality specialists.
