Quality Engineer

About the role

An experienced Quality Engineer is needed to support a growing manufacturing business in Burnley. The role will drive continuous improvement, maintain quality standards and act as the quality lead for designated customer accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Support manufacturing quality across production lines and customer accounts.
• Carry out internal process and system audits.
• Lead 8D investigations and root‑cause analysis.
• Use SPC, MSA and capability studies to drive improvements.
• Collaborate with production, engineering and management teams to ensure compliance with ISO9001 and IATF 16949 standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO9001 and IATF 16949 quality management systems.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Willingness to commute to or reside in Burnley.
