Quality Engineer – Piping (MEHA)

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Engineer – Piping (MEHA) to lead quality delivery for the Sizewell C nuclear project. Reporting to the Head of Quality, you will act as the senior quality focal point for piping, ensuring equipment and systems are delivered right‑first‑time and meet the highest safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Quality Management Leads and Quality Engineers.
• Ensure suppliers comply with contractual quality assurance and control requirements.
• Oversee implementation of quality arrangements across procurement, manufacturing, testing and delivery.
• Maintain and approve Lifetime Quality Records in line with project specifications.
• Provide quality assurance and control oversight for manufacturing activities.
• Collaborate with engineering, commercial, construction and commissioning teams to embed quality requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality leadership within complex engineering or nuclear infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of supplier surveillance and manufacturing oversight.
• Ability to influence international supply chains and engage with regulators.
• Security clearance (BPSS) and eligibility for Nuclear Baseline role.
