Quality Engineering and Assurance Manager

About the role

The Quality Engineering and Assurance Manager will lead Marex’s Quality Engineering capability, owning the framework, standards and operating model. Reporting to the Technology Centre of Excellence Manager, you will ensure technology quality is governed in a regulated financial‑services environment and drive the shift to an automation‑first, AI‑augmented model.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve a risk‑based, auditable Quality Engineering framework, defining testing, quality gates, traceability and evidence requirements to meet regulatory, SOX and audit obligations.
• Set engineering standards, tooling and reusable testing patterns, embedding automated testing and AI‑augmented capabilities into CI/CD pipelines while maintaining appropriate human‑in‑the‑loop controls.
• Provide independent assurance, challenge delivery squads on material risks, govern exceptions and drive corrective actions based on quality and delivery data.

Required profile

• Proven leadership in Quality Engineering, with experience designing and governing risk‑based frameworks in regulated environments.
• Strong ability to influence senior stakeholders across Engineering, Architecture, Security, Risk and Compliance.
• Demonstrated track record of transforming manual QA processes into federated, automated, engineering‑owned quality models.
