Quality Inspector - Rolling Stock

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Inspector to join the team delivering the new Piccadilly line underground fleet at our purpose‑built facility in Goole. The role involves final‑stage inspection of rolling‑stock units before they are handed over to the customer, ensuring all specifications and quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and accept completed rolling‑stock tasks and products.
• Record inspection results, sign‑offs and maintain documentation.
• Control and document any failures or deviations.
• Initiate re‑work in coordination with responsible personnel.
• Manage configuration changes and ensure implementation.
• Produce reports on recurring issues to trigger process reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in a quality role within rolling‑stock or rail vehicle environments.
• A Level 3 engineering qualification.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP.

What we offer

• Full‑time, contractor position with a day rate of £337‑£338.
• 45‑hour week, Monday‑Friday shifts (06:30‑15:30).
• Immediate start and ongoing assignment at a state‑of‑the‑art facility.
