Quality Inspector / Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Quality Inspector/Technician to join a busy manufacturing team in Tewkesbury. This temporary‑to‑permanent position offers the chance to apply your inspection experience while supporting the production of high‑quality components.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out visual and dimensional inspections of manufactured parts.
• Use manual measuring tools such as Vernier calipers, micrometers and plug gauges.
• Support engineering investigations of defects, non‑conformances and tooling changes.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and documentation.
• Ensure work complies with health, safety and environmental standards.
• Keep the work area clean, safe and organised.

Required profile

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication skills and teamwork orientation.
• Experience completing quality paperwork accurately.

• Plug gauges
• Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) – desirable
• Optical measuring machines – desirable
