Quality Manager – Aerospace Manufacturing

About the role

Our client, a leading aerospace manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead quality assurance across the production line. You will be responsible for maintaining compliance with industry standards and driving continuous improvement within the quality team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the Quality Management System and ensure compliance with ISO 9100/AS9100 standards.
• Lead the Inspection team and act as the company’s management representative for all quality matters.
• Manage calibration, testing and qualification activities to meet business and customer requirements.
• Conduct inspections and verification of parts at multiple production stages.
• Maintain calibrated equipment and ensure readiness for manufacturing.
• Train staff on VisualFAIR software and create/approve First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) and Layout Inspection Reports (LAIR).
• Plan and execute internal and external audits to ISO 9100/AS9100.
• Identify performance concerns, drive continuous improvement and support management review meetings.

Required profile

• Proven ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience conducting internal and external audits.
• Strong initiative, time‑management and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
