Quality Manager – Chemical Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to lead the Quality Management System at a well‑established chemical and coatings manufacturer in Romsey. You will own the QMS, drive continuous improvement and ensure product quality and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Ensure batch integrity, traceability and document control across the site.
• Lead internal, supplier, customer and certification audits.
• Investigate non‑conformances and implement effective CAPA.
• Support change‑management activities impacting product quality.
• Monitor quality performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with production, technical and operational teams to promote quality excellence.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Quality Manager or similar leadership role.
• Strong background in chemical, coatings, adhesives, polymers or related process manufacturing.
• Experience leading audits and managing ISO 9001 systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
