Quality Manager – Integrated Management System

About the role

Rolls‑Royce SMR is seeking a senior Quality Manager to lead and evolve its Integrated Management System (IMS) across Derby, Manchester or Warrington. This role will ensure the IMS remains robust, compliant, scalable and user‑focused while supporting the delivery of the UK’s flagship Small Modular Reactor programme.

Key responsibilities

• Define and deliver the strategic direction of the IMS, aligning it with business objectives, regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Maintain and continuously improve IMS architecture, governance arrangements and system integrations.
• Lead, develop and coach the IMS team, fostering capability growth and strong system stewardship.
• Drive process modelling, change‑control management and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support audits, reviews, ISO certification activities and corrective‑preventive actions.
• Partner with senior leaders, process owners and subject‑matter experts to embed quality and governance excellence.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality, compliance or governance leadership within a complex engineering or nuclear environment.
• Strong advisory skills, able to influence senior stakeholders and drive organisational change.
• Demonstrated ability to coach teams and manage cross‑functional projects.
