Quality & Safety Trainer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Quality & Safety Trainer to deliver mandatory fire safety, warden and evacuation training, as well as other quality and safety programmes such as BLS, PM&H and conflict resolution for our community adult and children services. The role can be full‑time or part‑time and offers hybrid working with regional and national travel as required.

Key responsibilities

• Support internal quality assurance of all clinical and quality & safety learning interventions.
• Maintain and update the clinical and quality & safety training catalogue.
• Participate in training projects and programmes of work.
• Provide education, development and support to subject‑matter experts delivering learning.
• Identify and implement continuous improvements in learning provision.
• Manage own workload, plan travel and schedule training sessions.
• Conduct training needs analysis to identify demand for learning interventions.

Required profile

• Relevant fire safety qualification (e.g., IOSH, Advanced Fire Safety Management, Institute of Fire Engineers membership, Loughborough Post‑Graduate Certificate, CFPA Diploma) or extensive fire service experience.
• Degree‑level education or equivalent experience.
• Level 4 teaching, training or assessing qualification (or willingness to obtain within a set period).
• Ability to deliver training across a wide range of health‑care subjects.
• Experience designing, developing and delivering blended learning solutions for health‑care audiences.
• Competence using digital tools for training development and delivery.
