Quality Systems Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Systems Coordinator to join our Quality Systems Team in the Europe region on a fixed‑term maternity cover. Based in Coleraine, Northern Ireland, you will support the generation and management of regional and global key performance indicators and ensure smooth product release from the warehouse.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and update internal weekly and monthly KPI reports and external customer KPI reports.
• Release products after successful micro and analytical testing and manage stock of lab consumables, including PPE.
• Maintain pest‑control information, customer portal alerts, and product inspection schedules.
• Review RM approval documentation, handle customer complaints, and manage external storage.
• Conduct internal QMS audits, write SOPs, and provide training to staff.
• Manage technical department purchase orders and stock ordering.
• Deputise for the Quality Systems manager as required.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher in Food Science or a related discipline.
• Fluent English with strong numerical abilities.
• Understanding of Food Safety and Quality Management Systems and the BRC Global Food Standard.
• Experience with basic root‑cause analysis and practical problem‑solving tools.
