Quality Technician/Engineer/Manager – Production Equipment

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Technician, Engineer or Manager to lead the quality function for production equipment within a pioneering audio‑technology company. Based in Penryn, Cornwall, you will join a highly‑skilled team that supports world‑renowned music‑industry brands and drives continuous improvement across product development and manufacturing.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the quality division, managing both personnel and quality management systems.
• Ensure all quality documentation is reviewed, maintained and kept up‑to‑date.
• Collaborate with R&D and the New Product Introduction (NPI) facility to embed quality considerations into new product launches.
• Provide technical advice and liaison support to customers and internal departments.
• Maintain accurate technical records for projects and investigations.
• Occasionally travel to manufacturing sites and supplier facilities worldwide.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a quality role within electronic, manufacturing or production environments.
• Strong understanding of quality standards and documentation practices.
• Ability to lead a team and manage cross‑functional projects.
• Willingness to relocate to Cornwall and travel as needed.

Required skills

• Quality management system knowledge (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Technical documentation and record‑keeping.
• Experience working with R&D and NPI processes.
