About the role

We are building a new systematic macro trading business focused on futures, FX, and volatility. As a quantitative researcher you will design and develop mid‑frequency alpha strategies across multiple asset classes.

Key responsibilities

Generate and back‑test systematic trading ideas for FX, commodities, fixed income and equity markets.
Develop, implement and maintain production‑grade trading models.
Evaluate new data sets for alpha potential and integrate them into the research pipeline.
Improve existing strategies, optimise portfolios and monitor execution performance.
Contribute to the research infrastructure and investment process of the team.

Required profile

PhD in mathematics, statistics, physics or a related quantitative discipline.
Experience in quantitative trading, preferably in FX or futures.
Proven track record in alpha research, portfolio construction and optimisation.

Required skills

Strong proficiency in Python.
Experience with the scientific stack: numpy, pandas, scikit‑learn.
Data exploration, dimensionality reduction and feature engineering.
