Quantitative Research Analyst – Client Solutions & Analytics (London)

About the role

PIMCO’s Client Solutions & Analytics team in London is looking for a junior Quantitative Research Analyst. The role supports the delivery of asset‑allocation and risk‑management solutions for a diverse client base, leveraging PIMCO’s proprietary infrastructure and analytical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior team members in providing asset‑allocation and risk‑management advice to clients and prospects.
• Run risk analytics, optimisation, economic scenario analyses and stress tests using proprietary software and external data sources.
• Develop, maintain and enhance complex quantitative models and analytical tools.
• Contribute to portfolio diagnostics, scenario analysis, and asset‑liability modelling.
• Produce customised written research and insights to support client discussions and strategic investment decisions.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of major asset classes and their interactions within a portfolio.
• Academic background or experience in quantitative finance, economics, mathematics or a related field.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior analysts, account managers, product and portfolio managers.
• Attention to detail and ability to communicate complex quantitative concepts clearly.
