Quantitative Researcher – Systematic Strategies

About the role

Join a leading global investment management firm that delivers uncorrelated returns through systematic and quantitative strategies. As a Quantitative Researcher you will work in a highly technology‑driven environment, collaborating with trading, technology and operations teams worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct rigorous research to uncover systematic anomalies in equity markets.
• Develop end‑to‑end pipelines: idea generation, data processing, back‑testing, optimisation and production deployment.
• Identify and evaluate new data sources for improving stock return predictions.
• Maintain and enhance portfolio trading systems in the production environment.

Required profile

• MS or PhD in physics, engineering, statistics, applied mathematics, quantitative finance or a related quantitative discipline.
• Strong foundation in applied statistics, linear algebra and time‑series modelling.
• Ability to efficiently clean, format and manipulate large raw data sets.
• High motivation, ownership mindset and collaborative attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python programming.
