Quantity Surveyor – Commercial & Healthcare Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a fast‑growing construction firm based in Birmingham. The role will involve working on commercial and healthcare new‑build projects across the Midlands and occasional travel to Bristol.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities and tender documentation for multiple projects.
• Manage variations, cost control and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
• Visit sites regularly, liaise with on‑site teams and clients to ensure smooth progress and resolve issues.
• Coordinate with the design and procurement teams to ensure accurate cost estimates.
• Maintain project records and support the preparation of final accounts.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on commercial new‑build or healthcare projects.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to travel to sites across the Midlands and Bristol.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
