Quantity Surveyor – Construction (Oil & Gas / Energy)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a major energy infrastructure project focused on de‑commissioning and carbon capture in the Liverpool Bay area. The role will be based on‑site at the Point of Ayr location and will support the construction team throughout the contract period.

Key responsibilities

• Update and maintain project quantity records and the bill of quantities.
• Monitor installed quantities, construction progress and contractor labour and equipment utilisation.
• Verify quantities for variations, dayworks, nominated parties and change‑work orders.
• Produce and certify subcontractor progress statements and related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project procedures, contract requirements and health‑safety standards.
• Support construction management with feasibility reviews and cost assessments.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of Quantity Surveying experience in oil & gas, energy, renewables or large‑scale construction.
• Proven experience measuring subcontractor work, commercial reporting and managing change.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and related documentation.
• Full right to work in the United Kingdom.
