Quantity Surveyor / Cost Consultant – Build New Service Line

About the role

Adara, an award‑winning architectural practice, is launching a dedicated Cost Consultancy service. As a Quantity Surveyor / Cost Consultant you will work directly with the founder to shape this new service line, supporting clients throughout the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deliver cost plans, tender documents and commercial advice for residential development projects.
• Act as a trusted advisor to existing clients and build new relationships with developers, contractors and consultants.
• Identify revenue opportunities, contribute to business growth and help establish Adara’s reputation in cost consultancy.
• Collaborate with the design team to integrate cost considerations early in the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quantity surveying or cost consultancy within the construction sector.
• Strong commercial mindset with a focus on client relationship management.
• Entrepreneurial attitude and willingness to shape a new service offering.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously.
