Quantity Surveyor / Cost Consultant – Winchester

About the role

Join an award‑winning, employee‑focused cost consultancy in Winchester as a Quantity Surveyor / Cost Consultant. You will work on a variety of commercial, residential, education and mixed‑use projects, gaining exposure from inception to completion while enjoying a strong work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior and associate leads on diverse projects across multiple sectors.
• Apply pre‑ and post‑contract cost management techniques, working with JCT or NEC contracts.
• Collaborate with project management teams to gather data and provide expert cost advice.
• Produce accurate cost reports, conduct tender analysis and administer contract procedures.

Required profile

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.
• 2‑5 years post‑qualification experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Assistant Quantity Surveyor in a consultancy environment.
• Active pursuit of MRICS Chartership or clear intention to achieve it soon.
• UK national or holder of a current right to live and work in the UK.
