Quantity Surveyor – Early Career – Infrastructure Projects

About the role

An exciting opportunity for a recently qualified Quantity Surveyor to join DYWIDAG's Commercial Team, supporting both pre‑contract and post‑contract commercial functions across repair, strengthening, structural health monitoring and geotechnical projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review invitations to tender, specifications and drawings and prepare detailed estimates and pricing submissions.
• Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations and develop cost build‑ups for labour, plant and materials.
• Prepare and submit monthly applications for payment, assess work completed and monitor project performance against budget.
• Manage subcontractor accounts, negotiate variations and provide commercial advice to project teams.
• Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal project teams.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related commercial discipline.
• Recently qualified or early‑career Quantity Surveyor.
• Strong numerical and analytical abilities with good understanding of construction contracts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to sites.
