Quantity Surveyor

About the role

Ian Williams is seeking a driven Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial and operational team supporting painting, decorating and refurbishment projects across South London and Kent. The role is based in our Tonbridge unit and involves both tendering and on‑site measurement work.

Key responsibilities

• Measure and prepare cost estimates for contracts and tenders, highlighting commercial risks and mitigation strategies.
• Produce cost‑value reconciliations, identifying opportunities and ensuring accurate contract planning.
• Collaborate closely with the Contracts Manager to monitor productivity and labour targets.
• Actively tender, estimate and measure on‑site for a variety of frameworks and core contracts.
• Support projects in commercial property development, education, social housing, retirement living and other sectors.
