Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor – Leeds

About the role

Vannin Solutions Limited is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Leeds. You will own the commercial lifecycle of multiple infrastructure projects, working closely with senior stakeholders and driving performance across a varied portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Take full commercial responsibility for several live civil engineering projects.
• Manage costs, forecasts and project budgets.
• Prepare and submit valuations, variations and final accounts.
• Oversee subcontractor procurement and commercial management.
• Produce CVRs, cash‑flow forecasts and financial reports.
• Advise operational teams on contractual matters.
• Build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Experience in civil engineering, infrastructure or construction.
• Ability to manage projects independently or as part of a team.
• Commercial awareness with strong negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with NEC contracts.
• Degree‑qualified (or equivalent experience) in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• Rail experience advantageous but not essential.
