Quantity Surveyor – Water & Wastewater Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our growing infrastructure team delivering essential water and wastewater projects across Surrey. You will support the commercial management of developer services schemes, ensuring costs are controlled while maximising value for new development connections.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare take‑offs, measurements and pricing for groundworks and civil works.
• Manage and assess subcontractor accounts.
• Report on completed works and forecast project costs.
• Support preparation and submission of payment applications.
• Identify value‑engineering opportunities and commercial efficiencies.
• Monitor project costs to maximise margins.
• Collaborate closely with operational teams to meet commercial objectives.
• Maintain accurate commercial records and reporting.

Required profile

• Experience pricing groundworks and civil engineering projects.
• Knowledge of cost reporting and commercial forecasting.
• Experience managing subcontractor accounts.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proactive approach with strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
