Radiology Department Assistant Supervisor

About the role

The Radiology Department Assistant Supervisor will join Cleveland Clinic London’s Imaging team, working across three central London sites. Reporting to the Radiology Manager, the role ensures high‑quality service for patients, consultants and visitors while supporting radiographers and radiologists.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and participate in the training of new employees and staff.
• Deputise for the RDA Lead, represent assistants at imaging lead meetings and relay information.
• Support radiographers and radiologists by liaising with patients and administrative staff to maintain efficient service.
• Greet patients, book examinations, verify and update patient records in real‑time on electronic systems.
• Train new caregivers on imaging systems and monitor training quality alongside senior caregivers.

Required profile

• Minimum GCSE level education (including English) is essential.
• Ability to manage time, resources and prioritize workload according to clinical needs.
• Previous experience in an imaging or healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated competency in IT.
