Rail Project Manager – Electrical Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead major rail infrastructure projects for a leading engineering contractor. You will be responsible for delivering HV and LV electrical installations across rail depots, stations and trackside environments, from planning through to hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver multiple rail electrical projects from conception to completion.
• Manage project budgets, programmes and commercial performance.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance on all works.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and prospective clients.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering rail electrical projects.
• Strong knowledge of HV and LV installation practices.
• Electrical qualification (minimum NVQ Level 3); HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering is desirable.
• Commercial awareness and client‑facing experience.
• Effective leadership and communication skills.
