Rates Sales Professional – London

About the role

This position is with a leading global investment bank looking to expand its interest‑rates derivatives franchise in the UK. Based in London, the Rates Sales professional will work closely with the trading desk and the broader fixed‑income platform to originate business and grow revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales of interest‑rate cash and derivative products across the UK market.
• Originate, develop and maintain relationships with institutional clients, including real‑money funds and hedge funds.
• Collaborate with trading and structuring teams to deliver client‑focused solutions.
• Play a pivotal role in expanding the bank’s rates‑derivatives footprint in the UK.

Required profile

• Proven track record of revenue generation in interest‑rates derivatives sales.
• Strong technical ability to price interest‑rate products.
• Highly motivated self‑starter with excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Team player who can work collaboratively across functions and build long‑term client relationships.
• Based in London or willing to relocate.
