R&D Actuarial Analyst

About the role

Join an innovative life insurer’s research and development team to design and enhance behaviour‑driven health and wellbeing products. You will work at the intersection of actuarial analysis, data insight and product innovation, turning customer data into actionable propositions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse large, complex datasets to generate behavioural insights.
• Support pricing and product evaluation using actuarial techniques.
• Assess impacts on mortality, morbidity and persistency metrics.
• Build business cases and develop product specifications across the full product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with product, digital, marketing and data‑science teams to bring new initiatives to market.

Required profile

• Part‑qualified actuary with strong analytical capability.
• Experience working with data, preferably in life insurance.
• Comfortable communicating insights to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Interest in behavioural trends and product innovation.
