R&D Project Manager – SaaS (Hybrid, Glasgow)

About the role

We are looking for an R&D Project Manager to lead planning and execution of projects that support our SaaS offerings. The role sits at the centre of a globally distributed, cloud‑native, CI/CD‑driven environment, partnering with engineering, product and cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality solutions on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Plan, prioritize and adjust delivery schedules, resources and quality criteria.
• Negotiate resource needs and coordinate domestic and international technical teams.
• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, risk registers and status reports.
• Facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders to keep projects on track.
• Identify, mitigate and escalate risks and conflicts as appropriate.
• Manage project dependencies and align with other organisations responsible for final product delivery.
• Act as the central point of contact for legal, marketing and other corporate functions.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering deadline‑driven, team‑based projects in a SaaS or cloud environment.
• Strong ability to manage scope, expectations and stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent organisational and risk‑management skills.
• Comfort working in a fast‑moving, globally distributed team.
