About the role
Join the Reading Festival team for a week‑long temporary role as a Litter Picker (Sweeper). You will help keep the festival grounds clean and safe for thousands of visitors during the August Bank Holiday period.
Key responsibilities
- Sweep public and staff areas throughout the festival site.
- Collect litter and dispose of it in designated containers.
- Maintain tidy pathways, entrances and surrounding grounds.
- Work as part of a supervised team to ensure a safe environment.
Required profile
- Reliable and hardworking individual.
- Good attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work outdoors and remain on your feet for extended periods.
- Driving licence is desirable but not essential.
Required skills
What we offer
- Hourly rate of £13.45.
- Full‑time shifts of up to 8 hours per day between 6 am and 8 pm.
