Real Estate Finance Solicitor – Exeter

About the role

You will manage a varied caseload of property charging, security and funding transactions, working for both registered providers and for‑profit developers involved in significant development, regeneration, maintenance and acquisition programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Manage real estate finance transactions from instruction through to completion
• Maintain direct and proactive client communication
• Collaborate with colleagues across real estate, banking and finance teams on complex matters
• Review due diligence, searches, title documentation and lender requirements
• Provide supervision and support to junior team members
• Assist with integrating AI‑driven tools to enhance quality and efficiency
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Contribute to merger projects, development schemes and wider strategic initiatives

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (CILEx)
• Experience in real estate, property finance, or related transactional work
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, client‑focused approach
