About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing Public Law & Projects team as a Real Estate Lawyer. Based in Southampton with hybrid working arrangements, you will work on a broad range of real‑estate matters that intersect with public‑sector regeneration and infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on development schemes and large‑scale regeneration projects.
• Handle transactional work, including purchases, sales and leases.
• Manage landlord and tenant matters within the context of public‑sector initiatives.
• Draft and review legal documents, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with senior colleagues across the national team on both local and national matters.
• Contribute to knowledge‑sharing, mentoring and practice‑development activities.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor in England and Wales.
• At least two years post‑qualification experience in real‑estate law.
• Proven ability to manage own matters and work efficiently under pressure.
• Strong drafting ability and a proactive, solution‑focused mindset.
• Interest in public‑sector projects and large‑scale development.
