Real Estate Portfolio Manager

About the role

The role supports a leading UK real‑estate lender in managing a diverse portfolio of bridging finance facilities. You will be the primary contact for borrowers, brokers and internal teams, ensuring smooth post‑completion servicing and proactive risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for borrowers, brokers and internal stakeholders on all post‑completion matters.
• Handle borrower requests such as facility extensions, consents to lease and partial releases of security.
• Prepare and present credit proposals for facility amendments in line with the firm’s credit policies.
• Monitor accounts approaching maturity, facilitating repayments or short‑term extensions as appropriate.
• Track early‑warning indicators, borrower business plans and development milestones, escalating material issues.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with loan covenants, facility conditions and property‑level developments.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of property valuation, planning and asset management.
• Experience in loan portfolio or real‑estate finance management.
• Ability to communicate clearly with borrowers, brokers and internal teams.
• Proactive approach to risk identification and escalation.
