Real Estate Project Manager Placement (12.5 months)

About the role

The Real Estate Project Manager placement is based in Airbus’ Broughton site and supports the UK Real Estate team across the entire Airbus UK portfolio. You will gain hands‑on experience in lease management, financial planning and capital‑expenditure projects over a 12.5‑month internship.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with updates to the Master Plans for each UK site.
• Identify and propose space optimisation opportunities.
• Support new workplace requests and produce executive summaries.
• Help draft and negotiate lease agreements.
• Provide financial controllers with data on cost deviations.
• Prepare and plan capital‑expenditure business cases and projects.

Required profile

• Undergraduate studying Real Estate Management, Law, Surveying or Business and remaining enrolled for the full placement.
• IT literacy and basic project‑management skills, with willingness to learn Airbus tools.
• Interest in supply‑chain management and investment planning (CapEX).
• Strong communication, stakeholder‑management and evidence‑based decision‑making.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
