Rebates Controller – 12‑month Fixed‑Term Contract

About the role

Vitabiotics is seeking a Rebates Controller on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis to manage customer rebates, trade promotions and incentive agreements within a fast‑paced FMCG environment. You will ensure financial accuracy, compliance with rebate contracts and work closely with Sales, Commercial and Supply Chain teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end rebate process from contract setup through accrual, validation and settlement.
• Calculate, post and reconcile rebate accruals in line with accounting standards such as IFRS 15.
• Review rebate agreements for correct financial treatment and system configuration.
• Validate payments and deductions to suppliers and third‑party companies for accuracy and compliance.
• Investigate and resolve historical over‑payments, duplicate payments and customer audit claims.
• Maintain clear audit trails and documentation for all investigations.
• Collaborate with AP, AR and Finance teams to strengthen internal controls.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts, monitor aged debt and proactively reduce overdue balances.
• Produce detailed rebate reporting for Finance, Sales and Commercial teams and support month‑end close activities.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of rebate contracts and accounting standards (e.g., IFRS 15).
• Experience working in an FMCG or fast‑moving consumer goods environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Commercial and Supply Chain functions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on accuracy.
