Reception & AV Technician – 4‑Day Week in London

About the role

We are looking for a Reception & AV Technician to provide high‑quality audiovisual support for a leading City law firm. Working four days a week (Monday‑Thursday) you will ensure meeting rooms and hybrid events run smoothly while delivering a professional front‑of‑house experience.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and support hybrid and in‑person meetings and events using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Webex and Google Meet.
• Act as the first point of contact for AV queries, troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly.
• Maintain and regularly check meeting‑room technology, ensuring all equipment is operational and presentation‑ready.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance with external AV suppliers and manage equipment upgrades.
• Keep accurate records of AV assets, maintenance activities and configuration details.
• Provide guidance and training to Front‑of‑House staff on AV usage and support client interactions when required.

Required profile

• Strong technical background with hands‑on experience of AV systems and meeting‑room technology.
• Confidence in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, MAC, DNS) and ability to support cabling and data connectivity.
• Clear, professional communication skills and a proactive, detail‑oriented approach.
• Experience in a client‑facing or customer‑service environment, with the ability to train others.

• Competitive salary £32,000‑£35,000 per year.
