Reception Class Teacher (Full‑time Temporary)

About the role

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Reception Class Teacher for a thriving Ofsted "Good" primary school in West London. The role starts at the beginning of the September term and runs until the end of the academic year, offering a supportive environment with strong senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons for Reception pupils.
• Mark work, assess progress and provide feedback to parents during evenings.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to whole‑school initiatives.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support pupils’ wellbeing and development.
• Participate in staff training and professional development sessions.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Minimum one year of Key Stage 1 teaching experience in the UK.
• Current safeguarding training completed within the last year.
• Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS with online update service.

Required skills

• No specific technical skills required.
